Working with Marilyn
has literally changed my life! As my husband can attest, there was always an underlying
stress that I felt about our living environment. Because I was overwhelmed and didn't
know where to start, I avoided attacking the jumbled drawers and closets, over-abundant
knick-knacks, and stacks of clutter everywhere. Then came Marilyn!! She helped me
to prioritize and make a "plan," where I was executing a little some days, and a
lot when I had more time - but ALWAYS moving forward. I used to struggle to do just
3 minutes a day of "de-cluttering," but now I'm ADDICTED, and it has become FUN!!

Having read declutter and organizing books (and watched related
shows on television), I wasn't sure if I would learn anything new or
different - but I did.
When I started working with Marilyn, I had piles
of papers dating back 2-3 years on my kitchen counter, almost 2 feet
high, with a small space available for eating. There were unopened
boxes from the move into my condo 8 years ago, as well as a variety
of paper piles covering about 25% of my living room floor and sofa.
I was embarrassed to have friends stop by and disgusted with myself
for not taking card of it. At times I could make the piles smaller,
but never cleared them away. With her encouragement, practical
advice and whirlwind activity during home visits, all the paper
piles have disappeared, the boxes put away, both couch and kitchen
counter are clear, and I have a program in place to keep it that
way. Truthfully, I had a hard time believing I’d ever get to this
place, but if I can do it, so can you!
I was referred to Marilyn by an already

Marilyn is a great instructor, facilitator and
encourager. She opens your mind in seeing clutter as it is and the
rewards in letting clutter go.
I have read many books, periodicals, e-mails,
etc. about de-cluttering. Most of them begin with discussing the
“hard” work which is “internal.” This class actually motivated the
process to start happening for me.
A great seminar! I’ve been to other
organizational seminars and their systems did not work. …I’m
motivated to de-clutter and do so in small incremental “healthy
habit” sessions. The class was well worth the time and money!
You have been able to help me put a lot of my
personal goals in perspective. You manner and demeanor have allowed me
to become more self-aware and have guided me in a non-threatening manner
to take more responsibility for my actions and to hold people
accountable for what they say or do and to fulfill my responsibilities.
